We are currently recruiting telephone interviewers for our downtown Montreal call center.

The work consists in conducting computer-assisted telephone interviews in order to collect data on the opinions and attitudes of a target population. To this end, your main tasks would be to:

• Contact respondents by telephone;
• Ask a series of pre-determined questions using easy computer tools;
• Enter their responses on computer as the interview progresses;
• Understand and apply the instructions related to conducting each particular survey;
• Participate in information sessions (briefings) on the surveys in field.

The surveys are a part of research projects that are commissioned by several types of clients such as large private companies, the media, or government organizations.

• Minimal availability of 12 hours per week required (opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week for candidates who wish to).
• Good oral communication skills
• Dynamic and at-ease in public
• Independence and professionalism
• Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
• Survey or call center experience is an asset

Note that the work of an interviewer with SOM does not involve any sales or quota objectives.
